JetFoam 3 ICAO-C

3% Fluorine Free Foam (F3) Concentrate - ICAO Level C

JetFoam 3 ICAO-C is a superior quality synthetic Fluorine Free Foam (F3) concentrate, designed for extinguishing and securing flammable aviation fuel spills and fires (Jet A and Jet A1).

A patent pending combination of surfactants and other ingredients, JetFoam 3 ICAO-C produces a vapour sealing blanket of foam that rapidly spreads over the surface of the fuel to provide rapid control and extinguishment.

  • The world's first truly Newtonian fluorine free foam, JetFoam 3 ICAO-C  behaves like water due to not containing any polymers or gelling agents.
  • Specifically designed for the aviation sector’s focused risks.
  • Meets and exceeds the requirements of ICAO 2013 Level C.
  • Low viscosity allows for induction and airport crash vehicle compatibility.
  • 100% biodegradable

Performance Approvals

  • JetFoam 3 ICAO-C meets and exceeds the requirements of ICAO 2013 Level C and is certified to this performance level.

Applications

  • Used in high risk situations where hydrocarbon fuels such as Jet-A, Jet-A1 and aviation kerosene are processed, stored or transported.
  • Designed to be used on Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Vehicles (ARFFV), Rapid Intervention Vehicles (RIV) and airport crash trucks where fast extinguishment is essential for saving life.
  • Provides a vapour supressing foam blanket on Jet-A and Jet-A1 spills.

Equipment

  • Intended for use at 3% (3 parts concentrate to 97 parts water).
  • Readily proportioned using conventional foam proportioning equipment.
  • Can be used with air aspirating devices. Where a fire or shallow spill is involved with fire, Angus Fire always recommends the use of aspirated foam where a stable foam blanket is essential.
