Recycling - how did we do?

In 2015, we achieved approximately 70% recycling efficiency on all materials we use as a company onsite in Gourdon!

	In 2014, the overall UK average for recycling efficiency as a nation was only 44.1%
	The EU has a target of 50% recycling efficiency by 2020 - we’ve already met this!
	The Scottish Government has a target of 70% recycling efficiency by 2025 - we’re 10 years ahead of target!

In 2015 we used approximately 37,000 kWh of electricity for all our production & office needs.

The average electric usage for a:

• Small business - between 15,000 – 25,000 kWh
• Medium business - between, 30,000 – 50,000 kWh.

However, these figures cover all industries, so don’t necessarily reflect the electric requirements of manufacturing & production companies.

What's next?

We are committed to improving our energy and waste outputs. In 2017 we will be focusing on:

• Investing in energy efficient LED lighting across our offices & warehouse
• Understanding our Carbon Footprint and how we can reduce it
• Investigating how we can further recycle our production waste
